Bret M. Binder - Managing Partner

Profile: Bret M. Binder’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation and transactions, alternative dispute resolution, torts, entity formation, debt collection, and contract drafting. Bret has advised and represented numerous local businesses, from their formation to their infancy to those already fully established. Bret has successfully handled diverse matters involving the sale/purchase of real estate (including short sales and foreclosures) from single-family homes to $50 million dollar apartment buildings or commercial complexes, real estate leases (for both Landlord and Tenant) fraud litigation, breach of contract litigation, entity formations and operating agreements, arbitration, personal injury litigation, employment agreements and non-compete agreements, and intentional/negligent infliction of emotional distress litigation.

Prior Legal Experience: Bret served as a law clerk to Justice Sandra Newman of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from 2004-2006. He additionally served as a judicial intern to Judge Cavanaugh of the Superior Court in 2003. His duties included drafting opinions and legal memoranda, advising the judge or justice, and legal research. Bret practiced as an associate with the firm of Conrad O’Brien Gellman & Rohn from 2006-2007, handling complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and tort claims.

Additional Experience: Bret has gained valuable insight into business negotiations and suits through the founding of his own real estate investment companies and participation in various small businesses in the Greater Philadelphia Area including Strikes Bowling Lounge, Pudding Lane, and various real estate holding companies. Bret additionally acts as an arbiter for the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.
